- Power Cord: Not an original Sony cord, but a self-made one that has been confirmed to power the unit.
- Confirmed to operate with dry batteries.
- Confirmed operation of playback, recording, fast forward, rewind, stop, and auto-stop.
- Confirmed operation of the tape counter.
- Confirmed operation of the VU meter and battery check button.
- No battery leakage inside the battery compartment (dry batteries not included).

[Maintenance Description]
- Exterior and interior cleaned with anhydrous alcohol.
- Dust removed from speaker cone.
- Main drive rubber belt replaced with a new one (manufactured by Sengoku Denshi, Akihabara).
- Counter drive rubber belt cleaned with anhydrous alcohol.
- Rubber ring for tape rotation replaced.
- All rubber parts in the drive system cleaned with anhydrous alcohol.
- Erase and recording heads demagnetized with SONY HE-3.
- Deteriorated sponge on the battery cover replaced.
- Contact cleaner applied to input/output volume components to reduce crackling noise.
- Felt on the output volume replaced.
- Contact cleaner applied to power terminals and input/output terminals.

★The unit has been generally cleaned. There are some unavoidable scratches and dirt due to age and use, but please understand that this is a vintage item before purchasing.
