A rare and highly sought after pair of vintage Patagonia River Shorts from Spring/Summer 1998 in excellent very lightly worn preowned condition. Made of 100% quick-drying printed nylon with a polyester mesh liner. River Shorts have become standard fare for river guides, surf bums and water rats around the world (where currency is unstable, you can trade them for food). Durable, quick-drying 3-ply Supplex® nylon shrugs off abuse from the most turbulent rivers, rockiest put-ins and abrasive deck grips. The liner is a comfortable PCR polyester mesh brief. Velcro®-pockets are positioned horizontally to avoid snagging on oars. This year we've made Shorts one inch longer (5 inseam), and one inch fuller legs the back rise is long for sitting comfort and the webbing belt and waistband keeps shorts secure in a swim.Seams are triple-needle stitched. Mesh strips in pockets drain water and sand.
