Vintage Pitney Bowes mechanical postal scale, believed to be Model 4900, with a 1–16 ounce balance-beam capacity. Heavy taupe-brown metal body features an aluminum weighing platform, sliding weight, adjustment knob and original Pitney Bowes Stamford, Connecticut badge. Measures approximately 11 inches long, 4 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide. Displays age-related scratches, oxidation, finish wear and discoloration, especially on the platform and exposed metal components.
